An album with distinct strengths and weaknesses. RiTchie continues to follow his previous creative path, condensing the atmosphere and tension of post-rock into a hip-hop framework, while using psychedelic electronic tones as a foundation and embellishment, allowing the instrumental parts to maintain a free-flowing texture. However, in terms of vocal expression, it fails to fully align with the production concept. The overly intricate arrangements end up diminishing the inherent catchiness the work should possess, leaving many listeners feeling it is somewhat obscure and difficult to engage with. Perhaps, as some friends have noted, the high ratings on RYM are partly due to the emotional resonance brought by the lyrics’ tribute to departed musical companions.
一张优缺点都相当鲜明的专辑。RiTchie依旧沿用以往的创作路径，将后摇的氛围与张力浓缩进hiphop框架之中，再以迷幻电子音色作铺垫与点缀，使器乐部分保持自由流动的质感；但在人声表达层面却未能完全跟上制作思路，过度精雕的编排反而削弱了作品本应具备的悦耳度，因此不少听众会感到略显晦涩、难以进入。或许正如一些友邻所言，rym 上的高分在某种程度上也来自歌词中对逝去音乐同伴的追忆所带来的情感加成。
