A relatively new face in the Windmill Scene. While retaining the signature rough texture of the scene, the overall vibe is noticeably fresher and more restrained. The band describes itself as “British pastoral style,” with intricate instrumental arrangements and tight yet elastic drumming. The composition leans distinctly toward power pop, incorporating a wealth of bright, optimistic pop elements, showcasing emotional tension and melodic tendencies reminiscent of Twin Fantasy. The female vocalist’s voice carries a natural and detached quality akin to Adrianne Lenker, further enhancing the intimate atmosphere of the work. The cover design also demonstrates a high level of polish, complementing the musical style well. Currently, only two EPs have been released, and the band is still in the stage of stylistic development, making their upcoming debut full-length LP worth keeping an eye on.
